Long beautiful hair
Since you don't know, for the longest time, I did nothing with my hair except get it cut every six months. It is brown , was long until this morning, and THICK. I shed everywhere. Our dog doesn't so I make up for it. hehe
Anyway, this morning I went for a cut, (last one was in October) and forgot to bring the style example photo!!! My mom and I looked there, and found something similar... luckily. I got in, it took the same amount of time as both my mom and gram.
When it was finished, My hair was no longer to the beginning of my chest(ladies, you understand), but above my shoulders, layered, and thinned out. I LOVE IT. Still a bit itchy from the loose hair, but my head feels so LIGHT. No more headaches from too much hair. I bet I lost a few pounds.
So, now I have to pay more attention to it, but at least I won't use so much shampoo and conditioner. Probably half as much, but I will have to wash it more...Bummer. Oh well, the cost of short hair. I may even keep this style for longer than a few months (I have a tendency not to).

And no picture? *shocked yodacon* I'm a visual learner; work with me here!
Don't have one yet, and I own no camera. Be patient, there may be one at some point
When I was in college, I never cut it from the time I was a freshman until the end of my sophomore year. So that's like almost 2 years w/nothing except a little trim here & there from my mom when home on breaks... My hair was all the way down to my butt in May 1994, not healthy and looking pretty ratty.
I got sick of it & asked my boyfriend (now my hubby) to cut it for my to the shoulders. It was like a huge weight was lifted off my head!! Figuratively!! :)
In the last 10 years, my hair has gone from extremely short (like a pixie around the time of my wedding 1997!) to shoulder length (when my son was born 2001) back to very short last summer. Then... I got sick of it. For the last year I've been trying to grow it out again and have succeeded at least in adding some bulk!
Now... the only problem is that there are some greys here & there... not a real problem, though. Because I'm so short people mistake me for being an inexperienced kid at gigs, every little grey hair just screams "EXPERIENCE!" so I think I'll keep them for a while!!
