A day in the Life of a Lifeguard

7am-I get up to my alarm

7:30am-I check e-mail and what is goingon in my SW world. Plus all the other stuff

9am-grab my bike to go to work.

9:15-aproximate arrival at work.

9:30 to 11:30am-teach swim lessons.

11:30 to 12:45-break at the library.

1 to 4pm-General swim. Yell and scream at kids to behave. (okay, that was exaggerated)

Most days I get to go home at this time. On other days, it changes. Especially if there is an accident. This usually means bodily fuctions. Like last night. A baby swallowed too much pool water over the course of an hour and vomited in the pool. YUCK. So much for being home at 7... Chlorine will be high this morning. Maybe no lessons. Maybe no work! No phone call yet. Don't hold out much hope.

hopefully this will explain why I am tired of this job and simply want to go bavk to school. I say ash123 is lucky. All she has to worry about IS school. Then again, I am in college. What do I know? Some would say nothing. some would say I think I know everything. I say my SISTER thinks she know everything.

End of rant.
